About the position

What to expect of the Senior Account Manager Services position within Huisman? 

As Senior Account Manager Services, you are the primary commercial point of contact for customers within our service portfolio. You build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify service opportunities and ensure customer requests are handled effectively throughout the organisation. You proactively identify commercial opportunities within existing and new customer relationships and translate these into suitable service solutions. including inspections, repairs, maintenance, spare parts, (project) modifications, upgrades and guaranteed issues. These requests are handled in the organisation, and you monitor the progress.

  • Identifying customer needs and translating them into suitable service solutions
  • Preparing commercial proposals, negotiating terms and securing customer agreements
  • Monitoring customer developments and identifying opportunities to expand service activities
  • Building long-term relationships with key customer contacts and acting as a trusted partner
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction whilst maintaining Huisman’s quality and safety standards.

  • Structured, accurate and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously

You have:

  • Bachelor level, Technical or Commercial or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales or customer-facing commercial roles within the offshore, maritime or heavy lifting industry.
  • Experience with service contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements, prioritise effectively and remain productive in a dynamic environment
  • A practical, solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Some practical things we need you to have

  • An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
  • A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
